This bamboo tea tray is used for judging and evaluating tea leaves before infusing. The large square surface and raised rim allows the tea to be spread out and examined; the cut-out corner enables easy pouring into a container, teapot or gaiwan.
Also great for holding pu-erh bingchas while flaking off some leaf for brewing.
